Default Modeling a Bf-109E

Hi!

I'm looking for tuts, which show me how to model an aeroplane like the Bf-109E.

Can anyone tell me where to find one or more of these???

Thanks

Henrik

I'll probably be shot for suggesting this, but when you're talking about aircraft and Lightwave, then Ethangar over at www.lwg3d.org is pretty knowledgable on the subject. He has a tutorial out on CD if you want to spend a little cash:

Thanks a hole bunch Fallenswordsman!! I'll just pop over and talk to the guy.

Do you know anything about the quality of the tut?? How much detail and so on?

Not because I'm a cheepskate but I would prefer a tut that was for free. Do you know any tut that comes in that categori??

He has the tutorial in the 'Interactive Tutorials' section for FREE.

After you model the plane... texture it hehehe:

I highly recommend his tutorial - it is well planned and easy to follow. He explains the details and names the parts for those that know nothing about aircrafts. If you're on dial-up, you should buy the CD, I think it's well worth it.

As Erwin says, Ethangar's tutorials are pretty much the best you are going to get on the subject of aeroplane modelling. He is very passionate about the subject and I don't know any other Lightwaver who would be a better authority on it than he. As Erwin has pointed out, the Interactive Tutorials section gives you some free content which you should look at.
At the moment LWG is down for a bit of upgrading but they should be up and running again in a few days time. All the best!

Yes, I agree with all above. I bought the CD too, for the appreciation of Ethangar, doing such a great job in the Interactive Tutorial Forum, which comes and goes at times on my PC.
