Still a lot to do, but its taking shape. It's the Centauri Vorchan Cruiser as seen in Babylon 5. It's not 100% accurate as I have no good ref images, but it should be a nice detailed model when done! Cheers!

Is that all weighted subpatches, or did you combine box and patches?

Here is the latest update:
http://www.threewaystudios.com/xfer/vorchan_10.jpg http://www.threewaystudios.com/xfer/vorchan_11.jpg http://www.threewaystudios.com/xfer/vorchan_12.jpg Only the head section and the intake boxes were modelled as SubD (and then frozen and optimised a bit)... everything else is just conventional poly modelling. I find its easy to fall in to the trap of building everything SubD when it doesn't really need it. I'd quite like to know exactly what the 'boxes' on the wings are for. They look like they should be air intakes, but I don't think they would be. Cheers!

Very quickly, and node first if they aren't very careful! LOL
Seriously (no-more so than required though) it isn't an atmospheric vessel...... it may be able to fly in the atmosphere with the aid of anti-gravity drive, but typically it's a space fairing vessel, one of the most manouverable and dangerous capital ships in the Babylon 5 universe (with the exception of vorlon/shadow and mainbari ships). Apparatnyl it would still fair well head to head against one of those though. There you go, that's much more than you needed (or wanted!) to know LOL Cheers!
