I didn't really switch it of, I just forgot to switch it on...

and after that 48 hour render it wasn't really that nice to suddently realice what a mistake I've done...

Ok, H.I.O.M sent the files to me, and here is the render. took me 59 minutes and 55 seconds to render.

Ilikeit! I have to agree on a brighter background (not necessarily white) that could help black pieces to come out

whats the polycount on the whole chess board with the chess pieces? is the mesh too dense?
