The only reason why i am doing the body parts first is because the reference pics that i took of my cousin were not aligned. So i have to retake them.
But making a head first is probably the best.

Looking good,,, keep it up. As for the creasing,, you might want to do some that runs the lenght of the boot.,,, or maybe try to redo the top of the boot,,, right now it looks like goloshes... (hope i spelled that right)...

I need to look at some more boots for the creasing and the extra detail for the kid.

Looking good, R4s1n! - This is starting to take shape nicely. I like the slightly bulgy belly and the proportions seem about right for the kid pirate that you're doing.

More updates...Did the creasing on the boots. Well I'm off to work so i hope ill be able to start on his head afterwards.

Well i keep putting off the head to add some more detail to him. I finished his vest and added a bit more detail on the end of the shirt.

Coming along well - I'm not entirely convinced that the front of the jacket should be wiggly - I think a straight line might look better. Just a thought.
