Looking very nice there Chrispo. One crit I'd have is the top of the cheekbones just before they sink into the eye sockets looks a little too sharp compared to the rest of the model. I'd be tempted to soften those edges just a tad. Apart from that, sterling progress...

cheers guys - I was only messing with the blood, its a merge mode with red. However the bead will stay. I'll work on them edges round the eyes too, Im not too great at subpatched things... I really want to download more tuts (hence me trying to win some!). But real stiff competition.

Yea the beard is the same surface as the skin only with sasquatch added to that region. Worked well, the brows suck a bit and the main beard tuft too.

merge modes are really powerful - I dont design anything without them here at work - for instance a multiply mode using scratches over my nice artwork makes it look all messy. Lovely.

Anyway - heres an update, I'm making the hands and body today, screw the rest of it, its only the top Im worried about!

nice day today, my wifes going to have a baby!

First off, Chrispo - my congratulations on the baby! Hope everything goes okay there.

The hat is really looking the business and the head as a whole has a nice cartoony feel to it. Great work.
