Hi simple,

Again this has excellent style and rhythm despite only being stills here. I hope you add shadows to them cool drummers.

Keep it up, you arevery close to nailing a fine animation!

Cheers for the comments Zeno (even if I'm not simple )
As far as the drummers go, it was just an unfortunate choice of frame to render, there are shadows on them, they're just not noticable as the random generator for the fire light hit a low value.
Will hopefully pick up the rest of the frames for the 1st 30 secs this morning and then that gives me 11 days to animate and render the second scene, add the audio (and make the audio), come up with the title sequence and finish my production file.

Bugger!

LoL I`m simple!

I wish you goodluck!! I know how you feel, as it was the same for everyone last year, but I think its worth it.

This is a good concept as from last year there were some that just wanted to animate anything for no particular reason, this however is great, I think you`ll get finished on time.

cheers

Simple lol

Hey folks,

the final animation is now up on my site - it's heavily compressed and quite small, but it still doesn't hide some of the dodgy animation thats going on!
As usual, comments and crits are welcome and will be taken on board for my next project.

G'day Kris! Bumped into your thread and decided to check it out - your character designs and modelling execution are brilliant! I don't recall seeing anything of a similar nature (design or content-wise) - it's great to see something different!:attn:

Cheers! priimate.

Hey,
Thanks alot, i'm pretty new to the whole 3D thing (and creative thing in general) so my stuff at the moment is very experimentational, still trying to get a feel for what i can and cant do...
I might start some of these tutorials if i can get permission from the girlfriend (unlikely)
