all those shots look really good.
I particularly like the second one! Have you decided on where you're gonna have the camera? ~~CM! |

merlin...i'll probably have it somewhere around where it is in shot at the top of this page as that's the one closest to my scribble unless i come up with somewhere i like more...i'm probably going to be relying on the alarm clock for most of my lighting in the scene...and maybe something streaming in thru the window...i'm glad you like what i've got so far...and thanks for takin' a look at it...

right right you are merlin...altho i'm considering not putting the person in there and having it more of an implied thing since most people consider their beds to be safe, "friendly" places and here this one is full of nothing but creatures that most would rather not have anywhere near their bed...and the other problem with putting the person in there...is i run the risk of it being interpreted as a nightmare rather than a person lying there awake stricken with fear...altho both interpretations could very easily serve the same end...we'll see what the next cpl days bring as to what i finally end up doing...since i'm ultimately only on the fifth day of the project [wow? that's it??? it seems like forever!] and there's very nearly 7 to go...i'm not even 50% of the way thru technically...so i guess its early enough time left to make drastic changes if it calls for it...
...anyway onto the fun stuff...the diseased rat...yes i said diseased...regular rats just weren't ugly enough...so this one's diseased... Last edited by Warlock 279; 24-08-2005 at 02:24 AM. |

Just an idea: how about 00:13 for bad luck or 06:66 for a little paranormal clock
By the way....beautiful scene....you stole my heart

you could also try 11:58 pm or 23:53.......2 minutes to midnight, in reerence to the Iron Maiden classic.
I usually set cloks in scenes to either 22:22 or 23:58 ~~CM! |

...thanks for the imput guys...i had meant to type 10:29 for my birthday...and the 11:34 in digital type is Hell as everyone knows...6:66 could be kinda cool going outside the bounds of regular time altgether...and i'm diggin' the Maiden reference...now i just need to get eddie in there somewhere...lol...11:11 is supposed to be a paranormal time too for some reason...and i notice i look at the clock at 11:11 a lot...so maybe thats the way to go...oooh...or i good go with 6:36 the length of "creeping death" by metallica....hmmm....too many choices...

lmao!
I tend to look at the clock when it is 22:22! I cannot tell you how many times it happens! But actually I see the number 22, everywhere I go, about 100 times more than any other number. Maybe it's just me noticing it because I think it means something. If 11:11 is what you see often, I'd go for that if I were you, because it is directly related to you. ~~CM! |

still no deciscion...altho i'm ruling out 11:11 b/c when i googled it it came up with stuff about fun loving spirits and angles...and that's not really what i'm going for in my image...so i'm gonna move onto something else and come back to this i guess...

textured the spider...i would go ahead and throw some hair on it...but its small and you're not really gonna be able to tell if there's hair or not...and i need my 8 instances of saslite for the rats and such...
...i could probably get away with using one instance of saslite but i don't want to waste them all on spiders...in theory i could make several spiders on the same layer in modeler all surfaced the same...and the rig them all in layout with indavidual bone structures ultimately having multiple spiders but only one object...kinda of a convoluted workaround i guess but if it comes down to it i can always give it a shot... |
