Annoying shape in the middle? You mean those two triangle things. Looks like a problem with the mesh to me- as to how to get rid of it though, I'm afraid I can only suggest the bleedin' obvious of "try altering the mesh" - sorry, not much help!

yeah probably something to do with that i tryed sub divideing it and jittering the points to give some deformation in the ground but the traingles where still there so i think it might be a problem with the textures and its size ill try fiddleing with it some.
if not you can only notice it from up above so |

is there away to hide the mesh and just work on the bones because its hard to move the bones around especcialy when you carnt see them. inside the mesh

I remember seeing this in some kind of tute. (a bit time consuming though). Create a slider for the transparency of the mesh. So when you need to see the bones just use the slider a bit and it goes transparent. I think you have to put a transparency channel into a slider or something. Not much help but its all i can give.

im terrible at animateing i never done it befor so im just going to move things around into one postion at take a piccy. something like this attached here only better lighting.
i think i have got the textures on the body done enouth used just procedural though. carnt do much on the arena but im not focusing on that and going to blur it out in the final render. is the arena green? it looked green when i was on another monitor and its surposed to be sandstone is there anyway to stop there feet from going underneath the ground i know theres someway of setting an object that way i read it somewhere but i dont know where also when i go into layout and put both the arena and the creature in at same time when i zoom in to go to the creature it disapears and the camera increases like 10x in size (by that i mean the shape what you see in perspective) so i carnt move the creature around knowing where the arena is can any1 help me with this Last edited by Sharp; 28-06-2004 at 08:25 PM. |

Do you manually create keyframes? If that is your problem then just create keyframes every time you move an object.
Another thing make sure that the ground of the colloseum is stationed at 0 degrees - x - axis....This will help since then you only have to position his feet on the 0 m level.
