I definitley like the new one! Excellent work man; looking MUCH more like an authentic female head. Cute gal, if I must say so myself...even bald. Keep it up, looking forward to seeing her with hair.

Yeah, the new one is much better...doesn't remind me of "Coneheads" as much as the other one. hehe

thanks for the comments...great you are like the new face better!!
i tryed to make some polygon hair, but without getting good results

i think i give myself a break and go model something other ( something WITHOUT hair ) , and when thats done i will try to make some hair again.

also if someone knows a good hair tutorial. i would like to know!!
i now used the polygon hair tutorial at the newtek site http://www.newtek.com/products/light...modeling/hair/

I had problems with the shoulders. the hair is now sticking trough the shoulders, but i don't know how to make the mesh sollid so that i can't model the hair trought it!

well i think i explained my problem very odd, but that's because of my english. i still hope you understand it .
otherwise tell me!
thank you!!

Have you thought of useing the motion designer and then exporting the transformed mesh?

YEAH!!! i now know how the motion designer works ( it isn't that hard as i thought ).

i'm practising with a cloth object now. when i understand it some more, i will use this method for the hair!!

so just wait another couple of days and she will have hair ( i hope ).

Talking GIRL RESURRECTION

Very long time I worked on this, but I have decided I will not die before i have created a realistic girl with lightwave .

I am starting all over again because i don't like the old one anymore, and because i think i can do better now.

I could make a new threat about it, but since the plan is still the same ( creating a girl/female from about 18-22 years old ), i've decided to update this thread.

well here's the start of the head again ( attempt 3 ), let's see how it turnes out this time.

Oh btw...since i'm rather busy the next few months, I can't work on it that much, but i will try to work on it as much as possible.

Shes looking pretty nice!

The render is lovely as well.

One thing that looked a bit off to me is that her forehead is a bit flat. Either that or the middle of her brows are somewhat pointed.

The ear is awesome but looks like it could use a bit more tweaking in the middle as it looks a bit pinched:

Granted I noticed these things after admiring your work for a while. The eyes really caught my attention.

Well, i think i make big progress here.

I know the eyelashes need some more work at the corner of the eye. but i think i can say the head is finished.
Only need to add some teeth and hair, and then i can start with the body.

Tips and/or critics are still welcome!

I did a texture test. I think it turned out pretty cool. It's not done yet. but i am starting to understand how to texture a human head.

Things i am going to fix:
- Eyebrows needs more depth
- lipwrinkles also needs more depth
- liptexture needs to fit the mouth better

what do you guys thinking about the color of the lips? I'm having a hard job finding a good color for them.

Hey there Evader

Shes turning out very well, but there is something about the cheeks that is distracting me. Maybe the cheekbones are a bit too low? Or maybe I'm thinking they should have a more sunken in look.

The lip color looks good to me.

Keep rockin'!
