I can change to Normal if you'd like. I like the way it's going.
One thing I suggest is making the big neck thing more membrane-ish. RIght now it looks pretty solid and stiff. |

The big step to normal! Go bullet I like the idea of the frill around its neck. We have a lizard in australia called a frilly necked lizard. here are some urls that show some shots of the frill, may help you get the right feel.
http://www.doaustralia.com/Fauna/FrilledLizard.htm http://www.australianstamp.com/Coin-...re/frilled.htm and 1 more image. i hope this is helpful. |

thank you ozwolf for the links!!!! never knew their was some kind of lizard with neckfrills!!! its for sure i go use this links and i probably going to make the frills again to let it look like better!!! maybe it looks better when i make it not as a different part but just attach it to the head!! so i will try that!!!
thanks again!!! guestion: should i use double sided polygons to get that membrane-ish look??? or should i just make it a solid mesh like i have now at the moment??? updates coming soon!!!! |

I think it looks good! Looks much better than the last...the edges look a bit thick, but I think once textures are added it won't look as apparent and perhaps it will look better that way. Lookin fantastic bullet, keep it going man! Oh, and how many lights do you have set up in your scene... I have the darndest time getting a good lighting and soft shadows set up in a scene. The pic even has a neat fuzzy effect to it.

thanks hopesfall!!! first i had flat edges on that neckthing!! but that didn't look good...so i decided to make them a little thicker!!
In the last render i have 2 lights!! one blue spotlight with 50% light intensity!! and another spotlight with a yellow color, also with 50% light intensity!!! and radiosity is turned on!! that is always given a cool soft effect to the renders!!! and dont forget to give it a shadow map!!! |

\thats looking great bullet. Just one question can you tell us about the shadow map you are talking about as your render is an effect i too have trouble try to achieve.
Your dino has heaps of individuality with the frill and bone on its nose keep up your good work. |

Sweet!!! Thanks for the tip! I love your renders... now meby mine can look half as good About the edges; I see what your talking about. I think your thickening was a move in the right direction... I can't wait to see it textured... your texturing thusfar has been primo stuff. Until next render... I wait eagerly
