I have digital video which is a pain since I know nowt about digital video apart from compositing and thats limited.
Although I like a challenge.

Ermm got Nixons class Computer animation techniques, really time consuming class but alot of fun if you take it easy and just do every weeks tasks that week.

The only thing you guys might see is the personal study stuff we have to do for nixon, combination animations, but you`ll never know maybe after May I`ll start my showreel, right now am working through the week, not getting alot of time for anything I want to do, but I wouldnt mind redo`ing my guyver project, as after I looked at it it annoys me.

Well we`ll see.

Hey,
Pipes are an excellent addition, frames off the scene nicely, stopping the eye wandering away from the focus, love the cabling on the floor as well. Its small touches like that which really help make a scene.

I got to agree with the previous looking real good.

Ok am not saying anything for you to do with this project but something I have been trying to fart about with is DoF.
It can add to your animaion, although it seriously puts render times through the roof, but something to think about after your hand in,something you might want to look at for yourself later rather than the now.

I was talking to one of the lecturers about the 3rd years end of the year exhibition, sounds cool, think I might go to it, hope everything that you guys have done here is shown.

well, the actual render time isnt bad, 3min. its all the optimizing of each character that takes a while, and it has to go throu each character individually, and then also the factory and belt itself

ill get it done, my comp will prob need new fans in summer, :p

Its at Anti-A = Adv-Low, and its 320*240 :p

here is a bigger render, ive had to cut this scene from 10sec to 6sec, just rendering was takin forever

i think 10sec was to long anyways :p

Ive just started animating my character, that will be another killer scene to render, because u can see the whole line of toys behind him

Ohh well

i havent posted anything in a while, so here is a we screen-grab of the animation in progress.

this is the birth scene when the toy comes alive for the 1st time, :p the 1st time i moved his head i was so happy, it just looks so freeky

for this scene, his arms start by his side, then he twitches, then his arms rise and we looks at both his hands as his flicks fis fingers back and forth, he will then pull his arms down with tight fists into a sort of fighhting pose, and then he has a look about the factory.
