Ok your question is a little confusing? I will try to help.
In layout you need to load your object, and setup some lights so you can see it when rendering(mabye a ground plane to). You also need to adjust the camera properties to render at the resolution you want. And you also need to adjust the rendering properties, and place the camera in the scene where you want it. When your scene is all setup you hit F9 to render an image then you hit the "file" dropdown list on the top left and save the image to your HD in a format that suits you like Jpeg or Bmp. I would save it as a LW_jpeg if you want to show it on the web or send it to friends. I suggest going through a couple of the free tutorials here like the "Sunset or the "Red Peppers". They will take you through some scene setup in layout and get you rolling. If you have any further questions feel free to fire away. I might suggest asking more specific questions because general questions can cover such a broad area. Its better to ask many specific questions than one broad one. http://simplylightwave.com/movie_pag...tml?tut_id=506 http://simplylightwave.com/movie_pag...tml?tut_id=512

We are here to help
If you buy some points you can get some of the more lengthy advanced tutorials. For instance the whole modeling of the strat is now complete so you if buy some points you can DL all the tutorials for the strat. See some of the tutorials are free here and some cost points. The cost of the tutorials here are almost 1/10 the cost of buying training dvd's. The quality of the teaching is top notch all done by Philip so far and he is an awsome 3D artist. Try the Peppers and Sunset tutorials I am sure you will learn lots. Then if you like what your learning try the Strat tutorial or the Mclaren.
