Default Car modelling

First ! Philip, your McLaren tutorial has changed my 3Dworld.
I've followed it and tried to make my own using spline patching your way. I attach a pre of a AC Shelby Cobra. Resently there has been 2 new car tutorials at Newtek's tut-page - a BMW and a Nissan. But here they have used EXTENDER instead of splines.
What do you think of that modelling methode.

glad you liked it so far, bjorn.
the extender method is especially useful on models with rather straight side oanels, while the spline patching approach seems to give more control about the curvature... it all boils down to personal preference in the end
