I could not make it for last months competition I realy like to animate. How ever here is an animation that I done with a group of friends on LightWave. The download speed is slow, so I would advise to Right-click and select "save as".

Thanks!

The Fur was made using none other then our friendly neighborhood Sasquatch. Pawel Krawczyk was given the difficult task of creating life-like hair and done an amazing job too. While I painted the UV map which gave out the colour for the fur.

I attached the UV map which was used in the making of the "Misio". It shows more or less how the fur was "painted".

Default thanks

Awesome thanks for all the info. I have been experimenting with sasquatch lite, haven't decided if I have the cash to plunk down for the full version yet, but from the look of your video it is well worth it. thanks again.

LOL, the movie is great! The story is almost better than the modeling.

Great work.

Oh... that image above does not look like a normal UV map. Is it a plugin or are you just really handy with UV maps?

Nope, no plug-ins at all, just your average Print Screen and paste in PhotoShop. The file attached is a "work in progress" of the UV map. If you notice only one side, the right side, of the bear is painted. I just duplicate the right side of the texture and mirror it. Don't fancy texturing in UV, it can get rather tricky at times. Pawel made the UV and I created the texture.

Here is screenshot of Layout to give you an idea how the animation was made.

I know what Leovenous is saying though - it looks more like the UV maps generated with Texture Weapons rather than a standard Lightwave Atlas map...

Thanks!

And thank you Mark for pointing out my mistake. Well the UV map was still done manually, with the help from MeniThings Tutorial.

I think I like the attention to detail the most, just little things like the flicker of his ear, just awsome. GREAT WORK!
