Looks spiffing. I would have gone with splines, but your model looks good. Keep it up and us posted.

looks very promising, I would have taken the same approach as Leovenous but like he said.. it looks really good so far so why change a winning concept?
![]() be sure to post updates! cheers

hi digimatt, about the spline modelling, i have my point of view, it works great if we have 2 or 3 profil views in the background, so if we don't get much information and picture of the object, box modelling works better in that case, I can move points or poly into the perspective view and the number of polygons is less

Awesomeley clean mesh so far. So what are the future plans - more detail or is it supposed to be reasonably low poly for game engines, etc?

the final model will have some more detail add and as I use a low number polygons subpatched modelling, so just needed a higher patch divisions and the model will be a high detail model or a low detail thing.
I found this link and hope yo guys enjoy it, the bike is so far interresting object with many details than a simple car, what do you think? http://www.kawasaki-motors.com/speci...oad/zx-10r.wmv |

Yep - bikes are definitely more interesting to look at than cars - mainly because there's a lot more visible to the naked eye. Also a huge modelling challenge.
Cool so far - can't wait to see the finished, rendered product ![]() |

I know what you mean. Maya is a powerful application, but a real bitch to get to grips with - I tried it once and simply gave up on it - didn't like it one bit.
