LW side effects
I just wonder if there is someone else who's having these kind of side effects from lightwave...
for example: When I brusch my teeth a couple of nights ago this thought came quickly to my mind..."why don't I switch to symetry mode, then I will just have to bruch one side of my teeth"... This kind of things happens to me all the time...is there anyone else who has the same problem?...

HAHAHAHA! Fortunatly, I'm still a newb, so I'm haven't gone totally insane from exposure to LW yet... I do like your idea for tooth brushing, though... man, that would save TONS of time! I could just imagine how a "real-life" symetry mode would speed up garden chores...

Not really with Lightwave so much although being a guy who tends to model heads I do find myself staring at people looking at interesting facial features and the like and wondering how to model them.

The other problem I have is looking at photos and thinking "the anatomy is all wrong with the arms - that would never pass as a render" - and thats from looking at photos!
Just glad that I'm not so much of a Lightwave user that I've started to think I've got my own personalized transparency setting that I can crank up so that nobody can see me. Would be cool if I did though. |

Yeah, its funny; I see a lot of people and object in real life that are odd, and I think; "if I modeled that in 3D people would laugh at me." It seems what we consider photoreal in 3D is not the same as real-real.

Yeah I've had that kind of thoughts since I was like 8 years old or something...Once as a kid I was lying in the snow with my feet up towards the stars, and I thought it looked really unnatural...like someone had just cut my legs in from somewere else...
