Nope, you are correct. Neither of these systems are compatible with Lightwave (I think Massive runs under 3D studio, and Behaviour requires, well, SoftImage|XSI).

There is, as far as I know, nothing available of a similar vein for Lightwave, although you may want to take a look at Project:Messiah (http://www.projectmessiah.com) to see if this may help with what you require.

would I have to key fram it? cause I want them to panic and fight each other to get away and I really don't wanna keyframe it.
I looked at the site it don't look like behavior or massive? is there even a software like crowd and battle simulation for lightwave? I know 3ds got AI implant but I don't think that works for lightwave either?

I don't think that there is necessarily anything that does what you want to do for Lightwave specifically (although you could try kicking a search through Flay.com to see if there's anything listed in the plugins database).

You may get away with keyframing some generic motions on a small selection of characters, then adding some random expressions and motion paths to the individual characters. (so you're working with clones of five or six keyframed behaviours).

I seem to recall that there was something went through similar to this on one of the Yahoo Lightwave groups recently. I'll try and see if I can find it later on today.
