Default Video Programs

What programs do you fellas recommend for doing video editing and compiling my images to make a videos? Thanks in advance fellas.

I would recommend you consider two types. The first is a compositing type program, such as after effects which is what I use but there are a number of them on the market.

The second you should consider depends upon the format you plan on sending your videos. If you just plan on uploading them to the web or showing them online or via email. If you plan on sending them via DVD you'll need a DVD creation program such as Premier from Adobe, but there are a number of them out there.

Don't forget about Ebay and such sites in purchasing these programs. Depending upon the power youwant, you don't need to buy the latest/greatest version of these programs.

If you want to make really fancy DVDs you'll need a program such as Encore from Adobe, and then there's always Photoshop which can help make things a little more "cool". With Encore, I would recommend the most current version, since the last one was basically a commercially available beta test.

Hope that helps. I use them all, and they're all wonderful and help me put out a professional product when asked to.
