Default Build your own 3d scanner

That looks like a lot of fun, I think I might just do it, I have a digital camera, my dad has been talking about how everyone should have a laser, but yet we don't have one. So i think i'll go to the hardware store, get him to pay for it, and use it, if this thing is actually good, it could be really fun to mess with, the only down side would be the satisfaction of making a kickass model by hand, but it still looks awsome.

It seems like this guy from my link refined it into a program to use, I'm really thinking of buying a laser for it. Does marks link have any pictures of the results?

No, I don't think Sean actually got any further than building the basic hardware... cool idea though...
