temple need to be closer to see more detail.

from tat distance you cant see the stairs you spent so long modelling. Needs logs in the fire and obviously an eagle in the sky (cause all firery temple scenes have an eagle in the sky....obviously).

Apart from that im gonna say...awesome

Cheers Guys,

The plan for the animation was to have a load of those wee guys dancing round the fire doing tribaly type stuff, then the camera would cut to a livingroom scene with an old couple sitting watching everything that was going on on the TV. The old guy would be laughing and doing impressions of the warriors, then a spear would come flying out of the TV and land in his chest. Old woman would pick up the remote, point it at the camera (TV's POV) and switch it off.
However.. I've spent so long working on the tribe scene, i dont think i'll have time for the livingroom one so i might just have to adapt it so something else happens with the warriors.
Logs are on their way, thinking about having guys coming out of the temple so there'll be a closeup then, dont have time to do the eagle, but otherwise obviously it would be there!!

Hi kris, like the style of your characters, wouldnt mind seeing a wireframe of it.

The scene looks great, you could do a kind of non narative GOGS aproach where, ok no talking but they just do stupid stuff, you could use the fire as a central part of the story, therefore taking from the old saying "you wouldnt stick your head in the fire if they did would you?".

Best way to keep yourself right, is to do a quick descriptive script and a quick storyboard, doesnt have to be accurate drawings.

Let me just say last year when we did this project, almost everybodystarted out with one idea, and in the end had something else, just happens when theres no time.

Looks great though.

Heres a W.F. of the 1st one. Have a couple of back up schemes in mind if this one falls over, I think i might just try and blitz it and see what happens though... if I dont finish in time then I'll just submit whats done and follow it up later

Hi,
Here's the 1st test render of the environment for the next scene, no anti-aliasing or anything on it yet, but you get the general idea...

1st attempt at the old man that will be in the second scene, not really done much work on the textures yet, just trying to get a rough idea of how he'll look
