Default Box Modeling Help

I am not a great modeler and I need some help. I want to create a character using a box modeling approach. I know the tools to use but whenever I try to make a char, it never comes out right. It would be sweet if somebody knew of a good box modeling tutorial that I could check out. Preferably one based on creating a character.

Thanks
-Dylan

The Creature Feature by Peter Duncan on this site is a tute on box modeling a character. It's worth the money.
