Smile Convering .m2 models to LWO :)

Well, i am going to start on a small project... finaly. Been away for some time now.
My probject involvs Gnomes and Litches.
I guess most of you either seen or heard about the world of Warcraft.
Yo probobly played it though to se Arthas pick up the FrostMourne and slay his alies and become currupt and evil. My idea is to make Arthas Death-Knight armor and put it on a Gnome.

Its the Armor that is the project realy. So i wanted to look at the original model of the gnome. So i managed to find the 'GnomeMale.m2'. The model that is used in WoW. BUT i cant find a way to conver it or open it in LightWave.

Does any of you have an idea? If you want to you can
contact me on mail at r.sorensen@telia.com or simply just awsner in this Forum.

Have a nice day :p

...you know its funny you should ask that...i was just looking into this the other night...the hard parts' getting it into lightwave...i don't know what tools you have at your disposal...i guess if you have 3dsmax or at least gmax it makes a little a easier but there's also an import script into milkshape which you can snag a 30 day trile of off their site...the plugs and such are all free...and there's some tutorials of how to import/export the model and that...

http://world-editor-tutorials.thehel...odelingfaq.php

...this is for "warcraft reign of chaos/frozen throne" not specifically "world of warcraft" i'm not sure if it'll still work the same...but i'd have to assume blizzard would have kept the same format...also check the menu on the left as there's a few more things about modeling over there...hope this helps you out some...
