Default Happy Bear :)

I did this bear for a mascot competition for the FIS wolrd cup in Zagreb last winter. I didn't win the competition so I figured I'd at least share it on this forum. It was modeled and rendered in Lightwave with a help of Sasquatch. This is one of maybe ten versions I did. I was so into my work that I didn't realize that mascots have to be simple so that people can remeber them easily. My bear with all this fur and details was a bit of an overhead for the purpose of mascot. Anyway, at least I learned something. Cheers !

Really nice character - love the use of fur as well. Nicely modelled, lit and rendered

I am glad you liked it. Here are some more renders of the same bear.

That's really cool...to bad you didn't win the contest...you must have had some tough competition.
