Default HELP - skelegon dont convert to bones

hi everyone,

I have made a model and added bones to it in modeler in the same layer as my character, but when i come to layout to convert the skelegons into bones, i get an error sayin something like....

ERROR
"a skelegon with one vertices has been found "

does anyone know what this means? or can anyone help who knows how to fix this ERROR so i can get the skelegon to convert to the right number of bones.

Thanks

I'd begin by selecting the skelegons in the statistics (w) panel in modeler and cut the bones to layer 2. Then start lasso selecting points while in polygon mode to find the collapsed bone. Once you fine the 2 points where it should be one,. you found the collapsed bone. Then just select a connecting bone that is not collapsed and move it to stretch out the collapsed bone so you can edit it. If you don't need it, you can just delete the selected bone but you may need to edit the skelegon tree to correct parenting.

I hope this helps.
