Ship Crashing
I want to make a spaceship crash onto a moon. What would be the best way to do this. I want it to leave a impact groove behind it with dust particles kicked up infront. Would I need to create a morph for the planet surface for the sliding trail behind?

You could either use a morph for the surface, or alternatively use an animated displacement map to deform the surface. If you also have Worley's Polk collection you can probably use the Acid plugin to achieve the same effect but with texture variations too...
