New Free Tutorial
http://www.simplylightwave.com/movie...tml?tut_id=557
Now some sad news from me SimplyLightwave will soon be under new management. It's good news for our members the company taking over has promised regular updates and a team of staff. Existing points will be honoured and I'll be around to oversee the integration process with our other sites. This is one thing I really would have liked to do myself. However after several medical setbacks and some family problems I felt SLW needed a more active team to run it. This place should be one of the best lightwave forums on the internet, unfortunately its falling short as i don't have the time to give it the attention it needs. Everyone that's contributed here deserves more than i can give. The new staff will interject some new life in this old girl I'll be around for some time to come but purely in a staff position. In the meantime enjoy the free tutorial. David |

Coo - cheers for the download, David.
Will this include a take-over of both the SimplyLightwave and SimplyMaya sites (considering we were supposed to be integrated as one site fairly soon). Can you reveal anything about the new owners at all? Are we keeping the old line up of tutorial writers and increasing their numbers? And most importantly, do we get Philip back (j/k). Sorry about the family/medical problems. |

Wow ... I turn my back for a moment and everything changes
Sad to see you go from the helm of Simply... though Dave. But, kudos to you to see that in order to stop the sites suffering its going to take a team who can spare more time than you're possibly able to put in on your own. It's always difficult trying to run a commercial site on your own ... especially when real-life(tm) has a tendency to rear its ugly head and throw you off track. Hope your family and medical issues aren't too insurmountable mate... Keep it real  |
