Rigley,

Try using Splitrender. You can get the script from this website:

Here's a little info from the Flay listing:

Will split one frame (or sequence of frames, animation) into multiple scenes so that each segment is rendered on a different computer on your farm. These split frames will then be brought together again by running the second component of this plug-in. Can save ram and time for very large resolution or print frames.

Hope this helps,

Mark

For another solution, try amleto.

www.rayserver.com

This will do the split rendering, merge the image and it is very easy to install and use. It will automatically install the LWSN client on any client machine for you.

thanks rincewind !

it is really user friendly, cool program, i have downloaded the trial version... but it is a bit strange... there are some scenes, that doesnt render correctly... i have 2 clients (one on the server machine and one on another computer). The client on the server renders correcly, but the other machine only renders the backdrop... but there are scenes , where everything renders correcty... How can I solve this ?

I'm actually one of the developers on amleto.

Could you possibly e-mail the scene you're having trouble with?
