Default stairs around a tree?

hi all
i'm modeling an elvesh tree (cartton styl) and i need to make some stairs around it .
how?
and how to make a doors or windows in suppatch surface ?

that sounds really cool looking... do u have anything that u have started? i would start off with a box for the tree and maybe use magic bevel to start the tree. Do u want the stairs to b part of the tree, if not make them on a seperate layer.

try making a box in the background and having your star in the foregorund and make a star and then use "point clone +" plugin (Multiply->Duplicate->Point-Clone-Plus+).

i used a magic bevel and edit path and this what i get .
