Just saw this cool tutorial on using a clip map at the Newtek site. Check it out if you haven't seen it yet.

newtec's tut aren't nearly as good as the ones on this site!!! phill's tut are unbeatable!!

Philips tutorials are the ones offered on this site, he also got a very good tutorial on how to model and texture a Jack Daniels whisky bottle on his own site, www.liquid-arts.de
