heh, I just opened another browser window and now watch the very first image and this one side by side...

now if that ain't progress...

you turned an average scene into a really great render!

Thanks Philip,

I just did the same, its really a huge difference, Im not quite satisfied yet though.. since the new camera angle is lower I think I will have to actually model the pooltable instead of just a using a plane. I'll see what I can come up with tonight..

And I agree with you about modeling the pool table instead of using a plane.

Looking good Matt.

One thing that struck me is the number 2 on the ball in the top right hand corner. With the DOF and bloom it kind of looks as though it's coming away from the ball? (Then again, it may just be me - it's late)...
