Sweet Job on the Sentinel Voices3d :-) The only thing I'm not to big on, is the bright red you use for the eyes. Maybe a smokey glass like red color would work with a middle eye glow effect.
Just a thought.. *shrugs* |

Aaarrgghhman did one of these over at LWG (it's in the newtek gallery too I think)... might be worth checking out just to see what detail and surfacing he did, as his looks closer to the movie in terms of the actual model.

I would suggest that you put some kind of diffusion procedural on it to make it look dirty. Then up the light in the scene to try to get a result more like the first image. I agree with Pro View... that red needs to be tamed somehow.

true. i think i could but the object contains 270411 Plolygons. And rendering time sux hehe... so i think i will have it this way, it was just a killing time project :p

Great work so far, but I'd say check the link above, and try and do a similar job with the eyes, as they resemble the movie sentinels much more. Cheers!
