Well Mr. Morghen.... post it in WIP! I eagerly await.

I think, specifically it is the XP5 version I am making... but not firm on that.

There is a schematic to work off of in the tute, but its very simple so most the details and whatnot have to be interpreted. Thats part of the fun though. I am not really into cars, just doing this tute for the learning, but I am beginning to want one of these McLaren thingies.

The scary thing is theres not much tute left, so I am going to have to do some of the modeling completely on my own. Well, that'll be fun too.

Well, umm, bad news. I caught up with the end, so... things get a bit trickier from here on out. Havn't really made enough progress to post.

And here is a general question: How on earth do you model tread on tires? Or do you use a bump map instead? If you know where a good tute is that covers it I would appreciate the link. Or if you could even give me the general idea....

Thanks Erwin. Hopefully I will be getting to the tires before long.

Here is my first bit of progress without Philip holding my hand.

Crits very much welcome at this point.

Mark. You must be happy with me in general cause you SURELY have something more to say! Some kind of dumb hint or tweak. Some link to a place I ought to know about already. You know, something moderatorish.

Okay I'll leave you alone. Anyway, thanks guys I'll try to get some more updates soon.
