One thing I got to mention/ask How do you guys get those awsome white backgrounds with that awsome shadow? is it a filter??? plz tell I spent like 30 mins, tried 3 point lighting tried switching monz... the only thing I didn't try was reflecting light
which I doub't would do it ( or maybe?) but here is what I got.

good start...i like the neck!!!

good luck with the rest of his body!!!

about the lightning you asked/mentioned!!
you can create the white back ground effect to place a floor under your object and then add some lights ( spotlight is the best i think ) and then give it a shadowmap ( you can find this in the shadows tab from the lightproperties ). then set shadow type to shadow map!! and then give shadow map size a value of 1024
and the shadow fuzziness a value of 2.0!
this are the settings i use most of the time!!

im not sure though if this is what you meant!!

i think you mean anti aliasing!!

in layout go to the Camera tab. on the left you see the Antialiasing button!! click on it and select one ( medium is good enough and is not taking to much rendertime ) then press ok

hope this will help!!
