Looking very nice so far. The holes for the knobs (oo-er) in image 4 look slightly large, but other than that, going well. How on earth do you end up with such a crazy wireframe?

Thanx Fallen. As for image 4 the holes are larger because of that little piece on top of the knob that needs to revolve around. The space is there so it can move freely.
An as for the crazy wireframe I start out with making the holes first and then connect the holes with other holes. (weird aint it) Anyway some of the holes have more geometry and so they have more vertices. I end up welding vertices together to cut back on making more polygons to suit my needs. (This way i don't need to make cuts which will distort other holes) The only way this trick works is if you have a flat plane which is what i have in both parts. It works for me

You sure you're Noob here, R4s1n? I really like how this is shaping up. Admittedly the wireframe isn't exactly the most elegant of things in the world, but at the end of the day you're not doing a render of the wire, and most importantly, the technique works for you and you're moving quickly with it. Fantastic stuff

Just remember to leave enough time for yourself to texture the blighter and get the renders done, which is the mistake I always seem to make .

Just finished rendering off the Drum Panel. It's all done and it sits at 26,000 polygons.
Here's the GI render. http://i26.imagethrust.com/t/67448/0...rumpanelgi.jpg
