Looking cool! I like how you have the arms tucked in the engine.
Keep it up! |

Thanks, The legs are going to be tucked inside the trunk area. I've been using a toy to figure out how I want to transform the car to robot and vicea versa.
I had a little trouble yesterday with my computer. I had a crash (I was modeling at the time) and the file I was working on was ... well it looked like I selected all the polygons of the car and hit k. strangely enough the arms and head (which were on a different layre) were uneffected except that all texture data was lost. So anyway I had to basically redo the last week of modeling. The lesson I learned, Save incrimentally often.:p |

Ooh, that's bad. I can't help you with that. Don't you have any older versions of the model so you don't have to redo the whole car?
Also take a look in your temporaly files. Maybe their is some kind of autosave in their. |

Great Progress, such a pity it crash, it tends to happen when you are near completion.
But I'm confident you can complete it sandman. Go on dude you can do it!!:attn: |

It wasn't so bad. I was saving incrimentally. I was just doing so much so quickly that my incraments were a bit far apart. I remember that there was some sort of feature that when you F12 back and forth between layout and modeler, LW saves a version of the model. I think you have to turn it on though. I think I read it in the manual. (I read the whole thing). Anyways, I knew exactly what I had done since the last surviving version so it wasn't hard to redo. Which means, I'm still in the race.

Well, I redid the side vents. Took longer than I expected. For some reason I couldn't get the UV maps to work quite right. I don't think that the Open GL 2.0 works the way NT said it should.

Haven't been around for a while - but I'm majorly impressed about how this project is coming along. I hope you manage to complete it on time!

It's moving along. I don't anticipate any problems. I'm almost done modeling. Then a little bit of texturing and then the rigging.

Almost ready. I reworked the legs a little. They looked kinda scrawny compared to the arms. For the transforming I've created weight maps for the different parts and after a break from the computer, I'm going to set some bones for controle. Maby tommorow I'll have a pic of a partial transformation.
