lol i can model fairly quickly, i jus not worked on it much lately, but i done the clothes - i modelled them jus 4got to show updates. deffinetly some comin later.

I personaly think modeling the clothes would look better than texturing them on. Though if you bump map it well it should look ok.
You could do one big scene with a whole team of rhinos and use all your ideas for poses together.

OMG. :O that rhino looks alot like mine, and i never seen this b4. i modelled his clothes jus like his wiv a vest n shorts. updates on the way. cheers 4 that John.

looking good. I see you decided to model the clothes. Good choice! I think you should either make the top of his hump a bit wider or bring the vest strap in a bit closer to his skin as it doesn't look as if it's sittng right from your top right image.

Thanks JohnD - yeh i decide to model the clothes, i was still workin on it but its sorted now and i began sum texturing test but wasnt 2 happy with it. but will post sum progress after new years out the way.

cheers fallenswordsman hope u had a good New Years.

heres a bit of progress i did today - model still isnt finished as i havnt done tail or eyeLids yet but i wanted 2 test sum texturing as thats probably my weakest area.

Textures r pretty basic as hes cartoony but heres the WIP so far.

4 any1 who is interested - here are the Textures i made in photoshop, they r basic really as i want my rhino to be cartoony.

U cant really tell the little bits of detail in the screenshot cuz its not a render, jus a lightwave screengrab.

This is looking good.

One thing: I think the texture of the nostrils can take some more work. Maybe make a larger fall-off ?

did a bit of work on facial espressions last nite, as texturing was gettin on my nerves a bit lol these expressions r all symetrical at the moe i shall do some Asymetrical too to help the character seem more life like.
