Awwwww! Someone beat me to it! I wanted to model one of these babies!

I fell in love with that rifle after seeing Aliens!

Done a great job on the accurate modelling side of things, now it just needs some battle damage!

Nail,

Very nice work. Always been a huge fan of ALIENS, and the Colonial Marines in particular.

I really need to go back and do it again with some of the techniques I've learned in the meantime, but I did one a few years ago based on measurements taken from an old Icons 1:1 scale replica, which I still have. If you'd like help with measurements or larger pictures let me know.

I like the way you modeled a lot of the elements of yours better than way I did mine, but if you'd like you can see a small render of it here:

Matt, I'm working on the battle damage part!

Kurtis Thanks for your comments, I have all the measurements and large pictures. BTW, I love that aluminum stand that you have made, I was thinking of making something similar.
