Nice, I'm really impressed :attn:
Anyway... you don't need weights and bones to animate robots... Especially if you're going for solid robot parts (meaning they don't bend, twist, stretch) I found that the easiest way is to cut it up into different layers, create a hierarchy, play with the pivot points a bit then send it to layout to animate. The end. :p My 2 cents. Good luck! :beer:

So.. yeah It probably would be easier to do it that way. Either way there is an auwfull lot of pieces to keep track of. And even so I had to add 3 nuls. Anyways, after sorting the parts out into layers I was able to transform it.

thanks a lot. I'm working on the transformation process. I think I have it done... :attn: now I just have to figure out how to post it. :headbang: Till then here is the final frame of the transformation. BTW added the corvette symbol.

Thanks for the encouragement. I rendered out the animation last night but at 25% resolution it is still too big to post. After work I'll try and reencode it to a smaller size.
