Just finished the drum stool here is a smoothed version and a wire in the next post. I'll slap together a render in a bit..

just going back to the stand with the four prongs (holding the drum), did you model a quarter of it and then revolve it to make the full object? Dumb question but I'm just interested in how people complete different things

Thanx guys....
T1ck135 - I made a Disc that was perfectly aligned on each axis. Layed out the four prongs and then deleted 3/4 of the disc. This way when i used the Action Center: Origin to rotate the object it rotates in 15% when used while holding 'Ctrl'. So i 'copy' 'paste' 'rotate' and repeat to get all the sides back.
This is a big help since i don't want to detail each prong individually which will lead to some of them being different from others.
The Same method i applied to the stand's legs.
So you were correct :beer:
