Thnks guys!

DigiMatt: It seems you didn't understand my question, it was if I should put the ships instead of the fighters, the fighters just seem to ruin the scene in my opinion. If I leave them I think I'll still put in the bigger ships anyway.
I may as well make the bigger ships and see how they look alone, If I don't like them I'll put it along with the fighters.

Rigley: The ships do need rotating a bit I guess, my problem is that they are attached to particles using FX_Linker which doesn't support banking, only head and pitch. I guess I'll have to rotate them manually (or edit the scene in notepad) unless someone knows a way to apply banking to the fighters with FX_Linker?

Kvaalen, I'd suggest leaving the small ships in along with some of the bigger ships. However, I'd have the swarm coming out of the large motherships. Should help to keep the whole thing fairly cohesive...

OK, I guess you guys like the fighters so I'll leave them in.
When I have time I'll render the shadows for the foreground fighters (the ones in the back already have shadows) and start modeling the mother ships.

look out, it's me again!

I'm inclined to think that the placement of the ships is a little too random.. ? Maybe they should be coming out in formation from the mother ship?

Ok, so the I'll continue with the second one. I know it looks sort of small, but wait till you see it on top of the city shooting down. :p

MumboJumbo: Ah, now I see what you mean. On the IRC chat the idea was once raised to have a challange which is done in groups of two or three, so that is what I thought you ment.

What do you guys think of that idea? I think it is great.

I really like the work as it's coming along. Just one thought: I think the grass in the enviroment is lovely but it's too 'in order' (it's difficult to explain in english but I'll try..). The point is that there is too much contrast between the city and the country. Now with the tree and the small house it looks better but still innatural. Maybe you could add just a street or something else that make feel that some people took care of that grass; and (another point) it is important that who looks at your image feels that people living in the country is scared by the attack otherwise it seems that what's happening in the city is not important and the drama of the scene is lost. So, if people is living around the city make it more understandable otherwise move the action closer to the city
