cheers mark, i hope people can see its an animated GIF goin from 3 frames - from original court to the changes bein made, I only say cuz it wasnt animatin on my PC,, mayb cuz its soooo sllllooooow lol

here is a quick render of wot my final shot may look like.did it last nite, although i do have other ideas for different poses. still a massive WIP as was testing deformation tests, but any comments and crits welcome.

Looking good. Like the lighting. The shadows under the feet look a bit off though. I think you should also flaten the ball a little and have it dropping over either side of the horn to show that it's burst in a more classic comedic style. I like it though.

JohnD - i know the shadow looks a bit poo at the moe, its still a WIP, i jus thought i wud show a quicky, render only took bout 2-3 mins lol i jsut wanted 2 test the rig mostly, and see how the rhino looked wiv the court, the ball does have a morph to flatten it abit but mayb its not enuff - ill look into that - thanks. Ave - president? LOL i wudnt go that far mate haha, glad u like it but i hope u not jinxed me sayin i shud win, have u seen the entries over at maya? some good stuff there and then theres u wiv rocky its classic. shud b a good comp thou. :beer: |

Yeah, I think the ball should be squashed a lot more, and drooping over the sides as if there's absolutely no air left in it at all, just to give it the classic cartoon emphisis seein as it's such a cartoony style character.
I like it though. Are you trying out the other poses too? Can't wait to see them if you are. Just another thought I just had there - Have you rigged his ears? If you have you could use them to help show his emotion. Like in the one above he looks quite defeated and downtrodden so you could make his ears a bit more droopy and if he was surprised by something in another image they could be perked up straight in flow with the rest of his body or if he was falling or running the ears would be following up behind the rest of his body. oh johnD ur a legend lol i knew i had 2 rig the ears but sumhow i totally 4got bout them, so currently no bones in there yet. the droppy ears wud work really well wiv the sad look on his face, ur right. .:beer:
I am goin 2 pose the other ideas i have yeh, and see which works best for a final scene, i will post renders wen i have done them - probably the weekend. Thanks for the input. |
