This model is sweet- I can't afford gas RC so I stick to battery, but I seen these around the hobby shop. I just bought a mini-T, your model is remarkably similar and extremely realistic, nice work.

This project is coming along. Looks like you had some time to do some more on this.

I have Modo301 and LW9.2 and beta. I tried Modo, but I find myself going back to LW. You are right about the memory usage. I do not know, I guess using LW for nearly 8yrs has something to do with. I do tend to fiddle around a bit back to Modo. I guess I have to force myself to use Modo only to get use to it. I am just so familiar with the LW tool sets.

Keep the good modeling. Nail.... you would be great a modeling a real sports car engines.

Thanks,,
Well I did not abandon LW completely, I still use it from time to time, as it was my primary choice for modeling back in the day. I never really liked Maya modeling work flow or the tools (I meant no offense/disrespect)
Modo is what LW should have been. The superiority of the tool set, work flow and faster OpenGl, is what made a switch for me. I know LW 9.6 has some major improvements, yet I still fined modo that much better.

I don't know what is going on with this place, it appears that no one is posting anything. Sad, very very very sad, cause this is my favorite 3d community.
I will no longer post the progress of this model here...
This project is posted @ http://www.foundation3d.com/forums/s...464#post137464 for those of you who wish to follow the progress..

Some more test renders....
