yeah thanks th final render will be more focused on the model this was just to show off the fire i am going to put a dissovle filter on the hypervoxels so the fire looks like it is building up in the mouth and just ready to shoot out the dark red is only a base colour for the deeper bumps all the high bumps will be different shade patchs

nice.. how many lights have you got in there?

theres like 10 shadows i dont know if it will altar the output of the dragons but maybe you should try turning shadows off on a few.

i have 14 lights to be exact each one set up different, they fake radiositity so instead of 10 mins it takes 40 seconds apart from the shadows on the floor it look the same, when i set the antialising to medium the shadows should show as one but it doesn't really matter as the floor isn't going to be there in the final render

oh ok , *goes and looks up radiosity*

eeek rate at which light reflects sounds complecated lol

well in global is a radiosity option i dont know if you know but i expect that is what you said taken 30 minites.
