Default May/June - Norm - Bullet_Evader

Time to take a break from my lightwave-girl-model. so let's enter this competition.

I am going to model a fish called "snoek" ( well, this is how we call it here in the netherlands ).
I'm going for realistic as possible. Never done a fish before...yeah i did one, one year ago or something. but it wasn't look that good, so let's hope this one will turn out better.

This would be called a Pike! or in some areas in the US a Jake.
A muskellunge looks alot like a Pike. Just alot bigger and meaner and is more silver in colour.

Well, whatever it is called. i am just making the fish from the reference in my openings post

I've done the basic shape, so i can start making details ( like teeth and more detail at some places ). I also need to tweak some parts.

I only said it was a Musky because the ref pic is the same as the one I had found labeled Muslellunge. I think the Pike is in the same family. Whatever the case I mede one a while ago.

Thanks for that picture Sandman!! it can be handy for texturing.

I've allready start texturing my fish, Their are still a lot of errors in the texture, but just wanna show you the start of it. it also lacks detail. so that's where i am going to work on now!
