Default McLaren Interior?

Some time back it was hinted that Philip would produce a series of tutorials to create an interior for his excellent McLaren model.

Will this actually take place, or has SimplyLightwave now run out of steam?

I like it too much!!

We need another magic tutorial from Philip

I like it a Combat airplane, F-18 or F 117

or a futuristic city...

or a futuristic motorcycle

or Robotech Bots with texture and animation.

Is a suggestion

Bye.

I'd pay for this one. I don't think SL ran out of steam, I think Philip ran out of steam and quit doing tuts. That's why they got another instructor to do them.

This was Philips 'hobby' as some may say. Because he has his real job and this was like a side job that he doesn't have time for now. I'm sure he'll be able to do some tuts but its a matter of time.

R4sin's right; at the moment I'm working on two movie projects at a VFX shop in Berlin. www.chriscreatures.com

We're approaching production deadline for the first one and I have to overlook the modeling of a creature for the second, so you can imagine how much sparetime I have left... =)

Once the first one is done (october) I have to immediately jump onto the second for additional modeling, rigging, shading, lighting and animation. My contract ends January 15th 2006... There's already a sequel in planning, so we'll see how that develops.

Earlier this year I did character animation for two Hubba Bubba TV spots that were/are aired all over europe, so chances are you have seen them (internally hey were entitled "the dream" and "the parc").

What I'm trying to say is; I have no clue when or if I will find time to contribute any new tutorials to SLW...
Production work can be pretty exciting and I can't complain about any "lack of steam" actually

cheers,

philip

Philip, my comments weren't meant that you had truly run out of gas. They were simply meant to mean that you must have other more pressing issues than doing tuts. Please take them in the spirit in which they were intended.

Grats on the work. Wish we were as busy as all that.
