I think you could improve the alien things by making them not look so clean b/c they busted out of the ground. Try adding some durt on them, scrapes, dents and what not. It is a very nice model.

the new war of the worlds 2005 the alien war machines are old and came out of the ground, in the original H.G Wells novel they where sent to earth from mars in cylynders and the war machines where not buried they where inside the cylinder.

Yes, let's also not forget that in the real War of the Worlds, the story is also set in England at the end of the 1800's and not in the US in the 21st Century...





... sorry, went to see the film the other day. Whilst the visuals were good, was totally disgusted with the adaptation. Was almost as bad as the original 1950's movie.

yeah i wasnt to pleased with the the new version on the story for this point alone :: if they have been here for millions of years why wait all that time they could have had the planet way before we even got here.plus when theyburied them how come they didnt die then but do now.one last note in the original 1938 radio broadcast of war of the world narrated by H.G Wells himself it was set in the united states and ended up in new york around the Hudson river not england.Jeff Wayne's aduptation of war of the worlds was set in England.anyways heres a better version of my previous image...............

Not entirely correct. The radio broadcast wasn't narrated by H.G.Wells, but by Orson Welles. The book predated the radio broadcast by several years (written in 1898 in fact), and was set in London (in the area in which I now live as a matter of fact).
