hair modeling
Hi all
Been searching around the internet, looking for some guidance on simple hair modeling. Basing my character on Mowgli (boy in The Juncle Book) If anyone can remember the original, the 2d animation hasn't been matched. Anyway, His hair is very fluid, and always moving. (I think, like snow white they rotoscoped over film and actors to get the real motion. I thought of creating polygon hair in different sizes and rig them to move them on the timeline for animation. Also another character, an old yogi in the himalayas will have a long beard. Any input and thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Cheers B |

It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but the Menithings website has some nifty technique that was used for the Full Tilt short (http://www.menithings.com/main.php?a...id=11&manual=1)
