Challenge July / Aug 2nd Entry
Sabathiel - better known as the Archangel Micheal.
This is my second entry for the Simplylightwave competition. The theme was to focus on lighting, so I thought of this scene.I have always wanted to model a propped set of wings - feather by feather and I love the iconic angel concept. I used a volumetric, main light over head...heavens light. Dust particals to add a subtle atmosphere. A soft glow on the angel and on the wings to give a soft feel to the composition.I wanted to achieve a lighting look, reminiscent of a renascence painting. Modeled in Lightwave 8.3 with a splash of Zbrush. Rendered in Lightwave 8.3 -Project Time was one weekend. |

great pic love your style
 but again with your first entry which hasnt got any either look at rule 1. 1) Show concept drawings! Show your progress! hope to see some wip pics with this
