Default rendering animations at 29.97 fps

Hi,
I need to render out my animations at 29.97 fps so that it will work with my NTSC project, but no matter what settings I use, it always renders as 30 fps. I tried changing the settings in the General Options and also in the Render options. How can I render out the animation as 29.97 fps?

Thanks a lot

Did you try first going to general options, setting your frames per second, then checking the allow fractional frames check box?

I'm not sure if that allows you to record at that frame rate or to just replay a sequence in fractional frames.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I checked the fractional frames box. The animation still renders at 30 fps.

Not too sure about that one since I'm in the UK and we use PAL 25fps, but can't you just render out at 30fps and then reformat it in Premiere or something? I know its not an elegant solution, but if its something you need in a hurry...
