Default Post Mortem

The second San Diego LightWave Users Group was a further success. We had more folks show up this time and the goal is to grow quickly and fill the stands with cheering LightWavers.

Will showed more of his modeling magic re: Thunderbirds (Thunderwho? :-)
And with a nights sleep under his belt he was able to stay awake at the keyboard even though Steve's key commands were "all wrong." Great job Will!

The SplineGod Larry Shultz blew us away with his reptile head spline tutorial. May the Spline be with you! All were duly impressed with gasps and hosannas from the audience. Larry is very generous with his knowledge and comes down from L.A. to present--not always a pleasent drive, although 'tis better to leave L.A. than verse-vica (just kidding, no calls please). Many of Larry's tutorials are available for purchase from him. Check out http://www.splinegod.com. Thanks Larry!

We'll be setting up a Yahoo group for the chapter. More details will follow. Kudos to Big Steve for setting up the list. (God was telling you not to eat Viet-food)

Cool LW8 tshirts found new homes. Subs to HDRI magazine were given away and congrats to Mr P who won the LW8 package. Lucky 13 all the way!!

We're still getting used to this stuff so bear with us. We want the SDLWUG to rock! So give us your input (use of input not guaranteed

Not sure what all this rambling is about? Come check it out at at CryWolf Computers at 11:00am on Saturday, October 16th 7320 Convoy Court, San Diego. Phone number is (858) 277-9653. Thank you Crywolf for use of you're facilities! They even took down the Maya posters for our meeting.
